Do you knit? Crochet? Want to learn?
Want to help others?
Have a bit of free time?
Do you know of someone who has had surgery and needs to be comforted? Could a friend who is going through a medical crisis use an afghan to keep warm as they recover? Is there someone you know who needs to know that others care? Please join us as we create comfort afghans for members of the congregation and our friends in the community who are in need of comfort. We are asking for 7-inch squares made from worsted weight yarn—knit or crochet. As squares are collected they will be assembled into an afghan and delivered to a person in time of need. A 7-inch square takes little time, and your ability shared with others will never stop giving. Please contact Audrey Morrison, craftyhanded@yahoo.com (896-1766) or Cheryl Barrett, cherbear_481@hotmail.com (896-9236) for further information.
